There are two different dies known for this rare 1858/57 STRONG overdate. They are: Fivaz-Stanton 301 (Snow-1) more plentiful Fivaz-Stanton 302 (Snow-7) less plentiful THIS IS THE FIVAZ-STANTON 302 (SNOW-7) - LESS PLENTIFUL Aside from this being the less plentiful (rarer) variety of this, already rare overdate-- we believe this coin to be the strongest strike we've seen of this overdate; of those already graded. Featuring very bold wing and feather lines, with a clear and distinct pupil on the Flying Eagle.
Predominantly clean fields and a solid rim further set this coin apart from it's counterparts. This is a TOP POP Coin with only 9 in PCGS MS65, NONE FINER. This was also the more plentiful, Fivaz-Stanton 301 (Snow-1) Variety. Given the facts, we believe we're offering this rarity at a very fair price.
