2017-W (2020) Silver Eagle $1 U. S. MINT SPECIAL ISSUE PCGS PR70 TRUMP
Whether you love him or hate him, this is a special Silver Eagle. This a West-Point minted proof silver Eagle stuck in 2017. For some unknown reason a very small group of other 2017-W's were put into a burlap bag and stored at the WP Mint. Then in 2020, someone at the Mint found this bag holding the 2017-W's and the U.
Mint Special Issue was born. Bags of coins were then auctioned off to Authorized Distributors, and I happened to grab a few coins with very historic labels featuring Donald Trump. Coin is a beauty and has been Quality?? to ensure there were no imperfections. Coin is known as a 2017-W (2020) as it was struck in 2017, but not released to public until 2020.
