2021-S American Silver Eagle Proof Type 2 Certified PCGS PR70 Deep Cameo - First Strike - PCGS Flag Label 2021 marks the 35th Anniversary of the American Eagle Coin Program. The United States Mint will unveil new reverse (tails) designs for bullion and collectible versions of American Eagle Gold and Silver Coins. The new designs (Type 2 Reverse) will begin appearing on these coins in midyear 2021 and include an anti-counterfeit reeded edge variation. This listing is for the Type 2 which features an updated obverse and new reverse design. American Eagle Silver Proof Coins are collector versions of the official United States bullion coins and are only available in the one ounce size. Coin Designs Obverse: Features a refreshed depiction of Adolph A. Weinman's full-length figure of Liberty in stride, enveloped in folds of the flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left. Reverse: The new reverse (tails) design features an eagle as it approaches a landing, carrying an oak branch, as if to add it to a nest.

Inscriptions are UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER and ONE DOLLAR.

Also included are the designer initials "ESD" for Emily S. Damstra and sculptor initials "MG" for Michael Gaudioso.
