Weinman featured on the coin's obverse (heads) has long been a collector favorite. It depicts Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left. Refreshed in 2021, thanks to technological advancements in the design and minting process, it now encompasses some of Weinman's original details that were not previously possible. Inscriptions are "LIBERTY, " "2024, " and IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse (tails) design features an eagle as it approaches a landing, carrying an oak branch, as if to add it to a nest.Inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, " "E PLURIBUS UNUM, " 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, " and "ONE DOLLAR. The coins' added security features include a reeded edge variation.
Each coin bears the "S" mint mark reflecting its striking at the San Francisco mint. Note that this is a pre-sale listing. We anticipate having them back from NGC and in hand for order fulfillment by 8/23/24.
