GAUDIOSO is the sculptor and EMILY DAMSTRA is the designer of this new design of reverse of coin. US mint set aside 400 boxes each for last and new production. The mint and NGC has confirmed that only 38 boxes were produced on the first day of the new design. Total of 19,000 landing eagle- Type 2 were minted as first day of production and less for perfect MS70. So it is rare to see first day of production MS70 and Michael Gaudioso's signature.
