SPECIAL 10th ANNIVERSARY DESIGN - This Wedge-Tailed Eagle features a one-year-only design by former United States Chief Engraver John Mercanti that depicts a majestic Wedge Tailed Eagle in full flight as if silhouetted by the sun along with the inscription "10th ANNIVERARY AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE" along with the coin's date, weight, and silver purity. The coin's obverse features the effigy of King Charles III and a small Wedge Tailed Eagle inset at the top of the design that mimics the original 2014 release. This one-time obverse will be used only for 2024 Wedge Tailed Eagles Proof coins. STRUCK IN HIGHLY-PURE SILVER- Each Wedge Tailed Eagle 10th Anniversary Coin was struck in a full ounce of highly pure 99.99% silver at Australia's world-renowned Perth Mint, which is represented by a "P125" mint mark on the left side of the reverse in honor of the Mint's 125th anniversary in 2024.
