The American Silver Eagle is a bullion coin first introduced by the United States Mint in 1986. It was authorized under the Liberty Coin Act of 1985 and is the official silver bullion coin of the United States. The coin's obverse features the iconic "Walking Liberty" design by Adolph A.

For the obverse design of the 2024 American Silver Eagle Coin, Weinman's iconic vision of Lady Liberty graces the coins yet again. Known as Walking Liberty, this vision captures the full-length figure of Lady Liberty in left-profile relief wrapped in the American flag as she walks toward the sun on the horizon.

She carries the branches of oak and laurel in her left hand as she extends her right hand toward the sun. On the reverse side of 2024 1 oz Silver Eagle Coins, you will find a depiction of the American bald eagle. This design from Emily Damstra showcases the natural splendor of the bald eagle. Here, the bird is shown in left-profile relief as it swoops into view with its wings flexed behind its figure as its massive talons clutch an oak branch.
