Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. Bald eagle returning to the next on the reverse. Bald eagles are known for their strong monogamous bond. Once a pair forms, they typically remain together for life. They engage in elaborate courtship displays, including aerial acrobatics, vocalizations, and nest-building activities.
The bald eagle is the only eagle species exclusive to the North American continent and the continent's largest bird of prey. Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse of the 2019 Canadian Silver Bald Eagle Coins. Her Majesty is shown here in right-profile relief in the 2003 design from Susanna Blunt, the fourth-generation portrait of the Queen to grace Canadian coins. This design shows an adult eagle swooping down into the nest where two hatchlings are awaiting its arrival. We stand behind every item that we sell.
