For the first time ever, anti-counterfeiting technology has been added to a US Silver Eagle, and it was also implemented on the bar as well. These extra security measures include Micro-Text on the product's surface and radial lines in the bar's background.

Another noteworthy enhancement is the inclusion of individualized serial numbers on each bar. The packaging impresses too - The 3 oz set arrives in a special magnetic holder, inside of a wood-and-leather box. Lastly, the limited mintage of 3,500 pays homage to the 35th Anniversary of the Silver Eagle's introduction, so they won't be available for long! The front of the 2 oz bar showcases a majestic bald eagle grasping an olive branch as it flies over a mountain range. The obverse of the Silver Eagle coin features Adolph A Weinman's "Walking Liberty" design.

Lady Liberty walks towards the sunrise while cradling oak and laurel branches in her left arm. The American flag is draped over her shoulders as she stretches her right arm towards the horizon. Inscriptions on the bar include "35th ANNIVERSARY OF THE SILVER EAGLE COIN" and others. Inscriptions on the Eagle Coin include "LIBERTY" and "2021", among others. The back of the 2 oz bar contains a border of 50 stars around the right side, framing a picturesque side-view of both the US Supreme Court and the US Capitol building. Radial lines emanating from the Silver Eagle coin insert on the left provide a dynamic background for the scene. The right side of the bar features oak branches and the tip of a bald eagle's wing. The wing on the bar blends into the silver Eagle's new reverse design, which depicts a Bald Eagle in mid-flight. The eagle grasps an oak branch in its talons as it comes in for a landing.
