The 2026 American Eagle One Ounce Silver Enhanced Uncirculated Coin celebrates the 250th anniversary of our Nation's founding with this limited-edition release! Coins bear the dates "1776 2026" and a unique Liberty Bell privy mark with the numeral 250. The enhanced uncirculated finish is a combination of finishes. Enhanced security features include anticounterfeit reeded edge variation. Minted at the United States Mint at West Point. Introduced in 1986, the popular and now-iconic American Eagle Silver Coins are collector versions of the official United States Mint American Eagle Silver Bullion Coins. The American Eagle Silver Enhanced Uncirculated Coin features a combination of laser-frosted areas and an unpolished field that accentuates design details. The process creates a unique contrast distinctly different from the mirror-like finish of proof coins. This popular silver collectible is struck at the United States Mint at West Point and has the "W" mint mark. The classic "Walking Liberty" design by Adolph A. Weinman featured on the coin's obverse (heads) has long been a collector favorite.

To commemorate the semiquincentennial of our Nation's founding, this special one-year issue of the American Eagle Silver Coin bears the dates "1776 2026" and a unique Liberty Bell privy mark with the numeral 250. The coin features a depiction of Adolph A. Weinman's full-length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left. Inscriptions are "LIBERTY, " "IN GOD WE TRUST, " and 1776 2026. The reverse (tails) design features an eagle as it approaches a landing, carrying an oak branch, as if to add it to a nest.

The coins have also been updated with a reeded edge variation for enhanced security. Inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, " "E PLURIBUS UNUM, " 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, " and "ONE DOLLAR.
